Earlier this autumn we invited our Swedish clients to attend a so called ‘dry run’ for our ESEF solution (producing Annual Financial Reports in XHTML with XBRL tags). To add IFRS competence we hired PwC in Stockholm to provide our clients with the basics in mapping their Financial Statements to the ESEF XBRL taxonomy.

The first workshop was hosted November 19 2019 in Stockholm. The attendees got an introduction to XBRL and how to identify the correct taxonomy concepts for their accounting. PwC also provided some examples of how to think and choose XBRL concepts for their extensions and how to anchor these to the base ESEF taxonomy.

The participating companies thought the workshop was a good start to their journey towards their first ESEF report.

Tomorrow, on December 5, 2019, it’s time for the second workshop where we will continue with extensions and anchoring and test out the dry run version of CtrlPrint’s integrated ESEF solution.
