Job Overview
The Head of Business Development will be instrumental in guiding CtrlPrint’s growth strategy Internationally (with focus in the Nordics and the UK/Ireland) This is a leadership position requiring a strategic mindset, a track record in high-level sales and the ability to coach, mentor and continuously develop an existing team of business developers. The job will require some travelling.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Execution
- Own and optimize new business sales and partnerships, ensuring a structured and scalable approach.
- Oversee the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Translate strategy into actionable plans together with the Sales Director.
- Partner with Customer Success/Account Management to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client retention.
Budgeting & Performance Tracking
- Manage the business development budget and track key sales performance metrics , ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and scale the business development team (7 people and growing) across 3 countries.
- Set goals, monitor progress, and drive continuous team development.
Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
- Drive short- and long-term growth strategies in key markets.
- Identify and establish new partnerships to strengthen CtrlPrint’s market position.
- Stay up to date with corporate reporting trends and competitive developments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with our Marketing, Product, and Customer Success/Account Management departments to align messaging, onboarding and provide market insights to help with new feature prioritization.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, Investor relations, corporate communications, or a related field within the SaaS or technology sector. Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role managing sales teams and overseeing cross-market strategies.
- Sales & Negotiation Expertise: Strong understanding of the sales process, deal structuring, and negotiation techniques with a history of closing high-value contracts.
- Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in overseeing complex projects from concept to completion, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing resources effectively.
- Financial Acumen: Proven track record in high-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial follow-up to ensure alignment with company growth objectives.
- Education: A Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Proficient in English and Swedish; an additional Scandinavian language is a plus. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Also preferred qualifications are:
- Strong understanding of the corporate reporting process and familiarity with compliance needs.
- Experience from working in CRM systems and related sales technology tools.
