CtrlPrint ESEF Learning
The CtrlPrint ESEF Learning program will help you when creating and finalising your ESEF report. With a combination of text, recordings and weekly news updates we hope to make your journey as simple as possible.
The learning program consists of the following parts:
- Weekly live ESEF News and Q&A sessions hosted by our CtrlPrint XBRL Tagger experts together with our Client services (hosted from January 17 to March 28 2023)

Weekly live ESEF News and Q&A
In these live sessions we will talk about the latest information that can affect your ESEF report, for example updates to the tagger tool, frequently asked questions from the auditors and other important information. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions. These live sessions will be hosted by our CtrlPrint Tagger experts together with representatives from our Client Services.
Each week we will talk about different topics. Information regarding the topic for upcoming sessions will be published on our website and LinkedIn page.

Year two you can reuse the tags from last years report, but be mindful of changes to design, content and to the taxonomy.

We have noticed that many of the issues that occur when tagging notes could have been avoided with the correct preparations. In this video we talk about the most common issues that may arise and where to find the information on how to solve them.

Prepare your documents for ESEF (recording)
In this webinar you will learn how to prepare your InDesign documents for tagging. It’s crucial to use the proper settings in InDesign and CtrlPrint to be able to create a nice looking and approved ESEF report.

ESEF Basic Step 1 (recording)
In this training we will show you how to get started with your ESEF report in CtrlPrint.

ESEF Basic Step 2 (recording)
This training is a follow up to ESEF Basic Step 1. After you have familiarised yourself with the tagger it’s time to do a deep dive and prepare for filing.
